The kitchen reno remains 1 day behind schedule. Isn't that incredible?! Merely one day.
We've encountered another rock blocking our path: the chosen engineered stone for my countertop has been withdrawn so I've got a little shopping to do tomorrow. There is a back-up available so my shopping may be quick!
(PS: The general contractor encouraged the painter to use the tints of our chosen paint colours in the primer so that we could ensure that it was the colour we wanted to have for first and second coats. Brilliant!)
YAY! I know you are excited to see this all happening. Here's to more smooth sailing.
ReplyDeleteWhat a bother about the counter. I hope you find something that you love even more.
ReplyDeleteIt is looking good so far! And yes, that WAS a great idea to tint the paint. Hope the counter alternative is just as good!
ReplyDeleteWaiting for more...

Tinting the paint was a good idea. I hope you encounter no more problems :)
ReplyDeleteThat tinted primer idea is being used here as well, it is especially when you are taking walls to a deeper colour, as I did in the living room. Good luck counter shopping!
ReplyDeleteHi, MJ! The kitchen is looking GREAT! We're just back from 2-week visit with family & friends in the US. Glad to stop by and catch up with you! Happy Weekend ((HUGS))
